ACC Coastal

4. North Carolina Tar Heels

Larry Fedora continues to build a very talented team at North Carolina, but with two other teams in the bottom of this division on the rise and parity developing, it won’t show this year.

  • The Tar Heels have returning talent all over the field and will improve slightly, to a 7-5 record. The team is still young and has a great future, like the rest of this division, honestly. So don’t be surprised if it’s in every game.

But while Virginia Tech at home is an upset win, Duke and Miami are still losses. Clemson on the road is another loss, and Virginia will be back this year and competitive, and they’ll upset North Carolina at home, knocking this team to 4-4 in the conference.

This is still a good team that could get to 8 wins, but the schedule sets up unfairly with Clemson as the draw from the other division. They’ll once again be a middle of the pack Coastal team.
