  • This is a very young football team that will win a few games, but it’s not enough to compete for the division this year. Expect another 6-loss season, particularly because of the need to replace quarterback Tom Savage.

Still, the schedule will allow for a 6-6 season this year with Syracuse and Georgia Tech home wins and a road win expected against Boston College. The out of conference schedule is three guaranteed wins, with Iowa being the only loss. But Duke and Virginia Tech are home losses and UNC and Miami are road games that will be losses, and at Virginia is an upset loss.

The Panthers have a bright future. Getting to 6-6 will be fine this year.
