Inside the Loud House

    • Coming off a 7-6 season, second-year head coach Scott Shafer has a lot of talent back, and there’s enough turmoil in the rest of the division to vault this team to No. 3 in the Atlantic. The Orange have returning starters all over the field this year.

    The only thing that might keep this team from finishing this high in the division is a little bit of an unfortunate draw in the schedule. Duke is a loss on the other side, and Pittsburgh could be a win but is on the road. Add the fact that Clemson and FSU are sure losses, and you have a potential 4-4 ACC team. Louisville, N.C. State, and Wake Forest are all wins though.

    As you can see, there are three serious levels of separation among the top three ACC teams. After that, it gets a little murky.
