Luckily, there’s more talent back than you think when you look at the trenches and on the defensive side of the ball. The Eagles still have the potential to make a bowl game because of that, but it’s not likely.

Virginia Tech and Pittsburgh makes for a tough Coastal Division schedule, and N.C. State is a road game loss this year, so the only likely win for the Eagles is at Wake Forest. Three out of conference wins will drop this team to 4-8 with a bright future.

Expect the Eagles to struggle this year, but Addazio is a good coach, and you’ll see some improvement as the year goes on.
