With the best coaching in college football under David Cutcliffe, Duke has been a program on the rise. Last year was simply the culmination of that. Anthony Boone and Josh Snead will make for no drop-off in the backfield, and there is talent back all over the field on both sides of the ball. So this team should be better.

When you take into account the fact that Virginia Tech and North Carolina were the only great escapes this year, and both teams are at home this year, that’s another reason to stick with the Blue Devils to win the division. The only loss will be a road game to Miami.

The Blue Devils will run the table to an 11-1 season though before once again getting beat by Florida State in the ACC championship. Revenge against Georgia Tech and Pittsburgh is also on the way.
