  • The Florida Gators are still at Square One. We don’t know anything about them since their game against Idaho was suspended last Saturday due to severe weather. So once again, we have to take what we know about them based on the offseason. Will Muschamp is on the hot seat, the offense needs to show more consistency than it has in any year he has been in Gainesville, and the Gators have to be able to take every team seriously. The return of Jeff Driskel at quarterback is still the story for this team and will be a big factor in determining if it can have a bounce-back year and save Muschamp’s job.

Eastern Michigan, meanwhile. was another one of the few MAC teams that scored a non-conference win over the weekend, but it was a 31-28 win against Morgan State. But at least they’re playing a team that tends to lose focus against inferior competition as well, so it’s a plus right? Wrong.

    Prediction

The Gators and Driskel are going to roll over Eastern Michigan. The game will never be seriously close or even threatening, and Florida will manage a defensive touchdown en route for at least a four score victory.
