This year’s Auburn Tigers have decided to blow out teams instead of get lucky. Yes, Kansas State was a close win, but that was a Thursday night game on the road, and those can always be a little crazy. But on Saturday, the Tigers just destroyed LSU. The rushing offense is what you would expect, and the defense is now a Top 10 defense, a big improvement over last year. And don’t look now, but throwing the football, Nick Marshall has 8 touchdowns to only 1 interception. Auburn can do a lot more this year.

The Tigers have plenty more tests coming with Texas A&M, both Mississippi schools, Alabama, and Georgia on the schedule. But for right now they have three quality wins, which honestly could be a case to make them No. 1. But…
