Saturday Blitz Vegas Big 12 Prediction: Baylor Wins 34-20

Yes, the world should be excited about this epic noon showdown, but if you want the truth, it’s going to be a comfortable Baylor victory. Are we to forget what this offense did to the Sooners last year in a 41-12 blowout win? And are we supposed to think it’ll be different this year because Oklahoma is at home and has Trevor Knight playing quarterback?

Nope.

In no way are we going to believe in Bob Stoops’s Sooners for a second. Knight still remains the most overhyped starting quarterback in college football, and he will once again fall flat on his face. Not only will Bryce Petty torch the Sooners. The Baylor defense, which isn’t even that great, will still manage to force Knight into making mistakes all day.

And that’s going to be enough for Baylor to have a comfortable victory on the road. Yes, Oklahoma has a good front seven. Baylor has the offense to beat it. Oklahoma has a good running game. Baylor will take away Trevor Knight, though, keeping the offense from being balanced.

At the end of the day, it will be a big disappointment for the Sooners. TCU will be upset too as Baylor wins again and they lose later that night.
