Maryland Terrapins 6-3 (3-2)

Coming off ab bye week, the Maryland Terrapins had to be dropped one spot simply because of how good the Minnesota Golden Gophers looked in their blowout win over the Iowa Hawkeyes on Saturday. With the Terps not playing, we had to drop them.
Maryland, similar to Iowa, has been beating decent teams but getting blown out by really good teams. CJ Brown as a running back at quarterback playing with great skill players along with good defensive players on the perimeter has been enough for this team to pull out enough wins to be bowl eligible and possibly win a few more. The skill players alone are enough for the Terps to potentially upset anybody.
But things are still tough. With Michigan State coming to town this weekend, a likely loss, the Terps season could be defined by the last two games. Rutgers and Michigan are both tough wins for this team, but if they pull it out and get to 8-4, that’s a successful first season in the conference. Falling to 6-6 would be a disappointment, and that’s very possible.
