Saturday Blitz Vegas ACC Predictions: Florida State Wins 34-10

We would like to apologize in advance to the Miami Hurricanes. A few weeks ago, this was a game that appeared like it easily could have been an upset. Since then, the evidence has added in Miami’s favor, with them playing better every week and Florida State struggling against mediocre competition until the second half. That combined with the fact that the game is in Miami and a huge rivalry match-up has turned this into a trendy upset pick for Miami.

And it’s that mentality that’s going to refocus Florida State.

The Seminoles have to be angry and motivated after falling to No. 3 in the Selection Committee’s Top 25 behind one-loss Oregon, and the lack of respect from the rankings and the media has to have taken its toll. Over the past few weeks, Florida State has been cruising. This week, Jimbo Fisher, Jameis Winston and Co. are going to play on a mission.

Brad Kaaya is playing better for Miami, Duke Johnson is a superstar, the defense is great, and overall Al Golden has a lot to be excited about with this team going forward. But Florida State is motivated again and back on a mission. And it’s unfortunate for Miami.
