Saturday Blitz Vegas SEC Prediction: Tennessee Wins 33-27

The Tennessee-Kentucky rivalry is one of the oldest in the SEC and never considered a rivalry. But it is this year with both teams desperately trying to make a bowl game. And the loser of this game is almost certainly going to be eliminated from postseason play.

Tennessee Vols fans are feeling themselves a lot after that comeback against South Carolina because they might finally have a quarterback. But we need to pump the brakes. As Butch Jones said, it’s now time to see how well Josh Dobbs does now with a team actually preparing for him.

So while the media and Knoxville are all feeling the Vols pretty heavily in this game, it’s no given.

Mark Stoops’s team is going to be more than ready in this showdown. However, we’re still betting on the Vols. Butch Jones’s offense is finally starting to come together, and the defense was never that bad.

They’ll get caught off guard because they’ve felt themselves far too much coming off the bye, but in the end they will still pull out the victory at home.
