George O’Leary– UCF

Whether it’s his fiery temper on the sidelines, or his resume padding off of it, UCF Coach George O’Leary seems shady enough to be quite a character. But does he qualify as a jerk college coach? If you ever watch a UCF game on TV, take a moment to read Coach O’Leary’s lips or how he responds to the players coming off the field. He comes off as an old crotchety ‘Old School’ coach. In 2001, he was announced as the head man at Notre Dame only to have to resign just 5 days later because of ‘inaccuracies’ (lies) in his resume. O’Leary claimed to have earned 3 Letters in football from New Hampshire University, his alma mater. O’Leary never played football at NHU. Oh wait, it gets better. Also on his resume, the coach claimed to have a master’s degree from ‘NYU-Stony Brook University’ a totally non-existent college! He has had success at UCF since 2004 however, leading them to a monumental upset of Baylor in last year’s Fiesta Bowl.

Judge for yourself in the following video as Coach O’Leary takes down a Memphis player coming to the sideline. Watch carefully as the play ends and the sideline reaction for UCF is priceless, as if they think, ‘Coach O’Leary is really going to explode now!’
