Saturday Blitz Vegas Big 12 Predictions: West Virginia Wins 34-28

Get ready for an epic Thursday night in Morgantown. West Virginia has played everybody tough outside of Texas and got a much-needed bye week to get back on track. That week off will be a big lift for Dana Holgorsen and the crew, and that rocking home crowd in Morgantown will take over in a crazy Thursday night environment. This is one of those games for West Virginia fans to show why they are at such a party school. Own your reputation Mountaineers.

Kansas State is a very good team, and we have believed in these guys in the past to be right in the thick of the College Football Playoff race. But the issues they had against TCU were too much to overlook, and against a great offense led by Clint Trickett, Kevin White, and an amazing offensive line, they are going to have serious trouble stopping.

Sure, Jake Waters will move the ball well with Tyler Lockett and Curry Sexton, but Bill Snyder’s team won’t be able to do it enough. That West Virginia home crowd will be the 12th man in a huge Mountaineers victory.
