Saturday Blitz Vegas SEC Prediction: Missouri Wins 34-23
Vegas really doesn’t believe in Missouri to win the SEC East because this line makes no sense. Unranked 6-5 Arkansas is a 3-point favorite on the road against No. 17 9-2 Missouri. What?
Sure, the Razorbacks have gone on a roll with huge wins against LSU and Ole Miss. But Missouri is on a roll too with wins against Texas A&M, who beat Arkansas, and at Tennessee, who was the hottest team in the SEC at the time. They were underdogs in both games.
And once again, they are inexplicably underdogs. So it’s time for Gary Pinkel’s team to prove they belong.
This game is in Missouri, and the home crowd will be enough for the Tigers to pull off the victory easily. Maty Mauk will throw for 2 touchdown passes, the special teams will set up a field goal and another touchdown, and the defense will force two crucial turnovers that set up a field goal and a touchdown.
The Tigers will win 34-23 and win the East despite a loss to Indiana and a blowout loss to Georgia.
