Saturday Blitz Vegas Big Ten Predictions: Purdue Wins 30-28

Welcome to an epic battle to avoid being the worst in the Big Ten. Both teams are 3-8, while Purdue is 1-6 in the conference and Indiana is 0-7 in the conference. It’s obviously easy to say that the loser of this game will be officially the worst team in the Big Ten this year.

And that team is going to be Indiana.

The Hoosiers are getting too much love for playing Ohio State well for three quarters. The Buckeyes turned it on midway through the third, and from there on out it was like they were playing air. This team is bad with only Tevin Coleman as a difference maker.

That will show on Saturday against Darrell Hazell’s Purdue team looking to continue to build momentum and show how vastly improved they are. The Boilermakers will use their signature style of ball-control and clock management to squeak out a very close win on the road and avoid going down as the worst team in the Big ten this year.

Indiana will get a bunch of nice runs from Coleman again, but they’ll also be turnover prone and make mistakes on special teams. And that’ll be the difference.
