Saturday Blitz Vegas Pac 12 Prediction: Arizona State Wins 31-28

This game could obviously determine who wins the Pac-12 south, but it would require UCLA to lose. Since UCLA plays Stanford the same time as these two teams play each other, there will be some major distractions in the game. And it will make for a sloppy performance by both teams.

However, Rich Rodriguez’s crew is a little dinged up right now, particularly at quarterback with Anu Solomon. And outside of one freak game with crucial mistakes at the worst time, Arizona State has been playing pretty well right now, mostly using balance with Taylor Kelly and D.J. Foster.

The combination of the two and the team as a whole will be enough to beat the Wildcats on the road. Arizona State has proven it can beat anybody when it avoids giving up big plays, and that’ll happen on Friday.

It will be a toss-up that could go either way, but the Sun Devils will pull it out in the end. And they will be the ones with a stake in the UCLA-Stanford.
