Saturday Blitz Vegas Pac 12 Prediction: Washington State Wins 38-34

This may seem like a crazy upset pick, but Mike Leach and Washington State have been in games all year. And Chris Petersen’s Washington Huskies have struggled with inconsistencies  at times. The combination of the two makes for the perfect chance for an upset in Pullman Saturday.

And that’s exactly what’s going to happen.

Petersen and Washington will try to do what they’ve done all year, which is focus heavily on the running game and efficient passing, but it won’t matter after the Cougars open up the offense. Luke Falk will avoid another 5-turnover game, and he will throw the ball all over the field in Leach’s air raid.

That style will take the Huskies out of their game plan, and it will work in the Cougars’ favor. This game will be close, but Washington State will pull it out in the end with that exciting offense. Falk will become the new star.

The Cougars certainly can’t play for anything, but this is a great way to salvage the season. And they will make sure that they do that and take care of business.
