Now, after beating TCU and Oklahoma, it’s time for Art Briles’s team to pick up one more huge conference win against Kansas State, at which point it will be incredibly difficult to keep them behind TCU.

No, we’re not talking about Texas Tech. The game at the end of the year against Kansas State is going to determine where this team stands. Beating Kansas State and Baylor will be enough to keep them here. Otherwise, they likely fall multiple spots. But for now, they belong on top.

If this were our regular Top 25, we’f have Baylor over TCU due to head-to-head. But our power rankings are based on eye test.

And eye test says that this past weekend, TCU was a much better college football team than Baylor.

The Bears showed last Saturday, though, that they can struggle without Bryce Petty in the lineup at times. But the offense is still high-powered, and the defense surprisingly very good.
