We’ll find out everything we need to know about the Buckeyes this weekend against the Wisconsin Badgers in the Big Ten Championship game. If they win, they have to get a spot in the College Football Playoff. If not, well, we won’t be surprised. How sad of a story J.T. Barrett’s injury was for the Buckeyes! He was the story of the year, and now he’s done for the year after the injury against Michigan.
But unfortunately, that’s football. The Buckeyes, at 11-1 and undefeated in the conference, still belong at the top of our Big Ten Power Rankings. And they’ll have to lose that spot.
Sure, Barrett is hurt, and sure, the defense is incredibly suspect. But Cardale Jones is supposedly supposed to be a pretty darn good quarterback who can handle Urban Meyer’s spread offense fine, and the defense hasn’t held the Buckeyes back so far.
