Utah State Aggies vs. UTEP Miners

Line: Utah State by 10

Saturday Blitz Vegas Bowl Prediction: Utah State Wins  38-24

The loss to Chuckie Keeton again this year was no problem. After shuffling through a few guys, they found freshman Kent Myers, who has completed 69 percent of his passes through the past five games and is incredibly mobile. Myers’s efficiency combined with his mobility will be too much for a UTEP defense that gives up more than 28 points per game, and Utah State will have its way with the Miners.

The Miners will attempt to use their rush-heavy offense to slow the game down, but that still plays right into the hands of the Aggies, who can play tough defense when called upon just as much as they can play tough offense.

The Aggieswill achieve victory over a UTEP team that did not beat anybody with a winning record all year and only beat two teams who were 6-6. Meanwhile, Utah State’s losses were to Tennessee, Colorado State, Boise State, and a heart-breaker to Arkansas State. Their resume is better, and their team is better. That’s why they’ll win the game.
