BYU Cougars vs. Memphis Tigers

Line:  Memphis by 1.5

Saturday Blitz Vegas Bowl Prediction: Memphis Wins 35-21

BYU is honestly an underrated team and has learned how to win and score big without Taysom Hill at quarterback. After all, they won their final four games of the year and picked up a huge road win at Cal. And honestly, despite being American Athletic Conference Champions, Memphis could raise some questions given that they haven’t really played anybody.

But the Tigers have a suffocating defense that the Cougars haven’t faced in this four-game winning streak. It’s a very opportunistic defense that BYU won’t be used to seeing without Hill, so the Cougars are going to struggle significantly. And that will be the difference.

Memphis’s offense is great too under Justin Fuente, and the Tigers will put up quite a few points against a not-so-great BYU defense. The combination of the two will lead to a very impressive Memphis win that caps off an amazing season.

Memphis gets its first 10-win season in school history.
