Texas A&M Aggies vs. West Virginia Mountaineers

Line: West Virginia by 3.5

Saturday Blitz Vegas Bowl Prediction: Texas A&M Wins 41-31

Let’s not forget that this Texas A&M team was 5-0 and in the Top 10 earlier in the year. Their 7-5 record is solely the result of playing in the loaded, deep SEC West, where everybody made a bowl game. As the team started to reel, they still managed to pull off a huge win against Auburn and should have beaten LSU and Missouri, and now beating Arkansas looks pretty darn impressive. The Aggies are better prepared and probably pretty excited to play in this bowl game.

This game will truly be a shootout between two air raid offenses and coaches on both sides with deep ties and connections. Neither team plays defense either. However, Dana Holgorsen still seems to have no idea what he’s doing with his quarterback situation, and if Clint Trickett can’t go, then the Mountaineers are in serious trouble.

On the other side, Kyle Allen, replacing Kenny Hill at quarterback, has gotten better each week and should be ready to have a field day against that West Virginia defense, which provides absolutely nothing up front. Allen will have all day to throw the ball, while West Virginia sputters a little bit on offense. That will be the difference.

Texas A&M pulls away in an exciting, high-scoring affair.
