Defeated Arizona Wildcats 38-30 in Fiesta Bowl

You’ve got to love those defenders who come up big in big moments, and Donte Deayon did just that for the Boise State Broncos as they beat the Arizona Wildcats in the Fiesta Bowl. The cornerback recorded 6 tackles and had an interception returned for a touchdown on a huge stage, so he was the one who made the difference for the Broncos.

And it wasn’t just another New Year’s Six Game he made the difference in. This game proved that Boise State will still be relevant with Chris Petersen gone, and they could vault themselves back into the national title discussion if they keep the play of this year up. Beating Arizona proved just how relevant they are.

So that makes Deayon’s play even more impressive and shows that he will be a guy who can step up in huge moments. The Broncos offense was solid and balanced all game.

But Deayon made THE play to be the difference in the game.
