#4 TCU Horned Frogs

2014 Record: 12-1

Final AP 2014 Rank: #3

Returning Starters: 10 Offense, 6 Defense, 2 Special Teams

The TCU Horned Frogs are a long way away from where they were a year ago, at a time when we were still questioning if they could compete in the Big 12. Then, after sharing the Big 12 title, we were all sure they didn’t have a team that could compete in the College Football Playoff.

How things have changed in a month!

What’s not to love about the Horned Frogs chances in 2015? After being left out of the College Football Playoff, TCU showed the college football world they belonged by pummeling Ole Miss in the Peach Bowl 42-3. Add to the mix that TCU has 10 returning starters on offense alone, including QB Trevon Boykin and 6 on the defensive side, makes for a very potent combination.

TCU starts the 2015 campaign on the road at Minnesota, but will have difficult road hurdles in Oklahoma and at up and coming Oklahoma State. Add to the fact that since the College Football Playoff Commitee left out the Big 12 this past season, they’ll most assuredly place one in this coming season. Could it be the Horned Frogs? They sure do look the part.
