It seems like we talk about Georgia every year. At least that has been the case since Aaron Murray’s sophomore year. And before that we were doing it for Matthew Stafford, D.J. Shockley, and David Greene. But something always seems to hold them back from getting to the big game.

This could be the year for Mark Richt’s Georgia Bulldogs to finally hurdle the SEC and vault them into the Final Four. Lose Todd Gurley? It’s okay, the Dogs have Nick Chubb to fill the role, who exploded onto the scene as a freshman last year to the tune of 1,547 yards. There will be a QB battle for the play calling helm as Hutson Mason is gone and so is their OC in Mike Bobo, who left Georgia to be the head coach at Colorado State. With so much uncertainty why are the Bulldogs making it to the Blitz Final Four? Their schedule.

With key match ups like Alabama, South Carolina, and Missouri all at home, Georgia will just have to contend with up and comers Tennessee and Auburn on the road this year, as well as a hard hitting Georgia Tech in Atlanta for the regular season finale. Georgia and Richt are just due don’t you think?
