2. Oregon Ducks, Four Players (Four on Roster)

Players on New England: LeGarrette Blount (RB), Patrick Chung (S)

Players on Seattle: Will Tukuafu (FB), Max Unger (C)

They may always fall flat against physical, NFL style teams in college football, but that doesn’t mean the Oregon Ducks don’t have quite a few very useful players in the NFL and particularly in this year’s Super Bowl.

LaGarrette Blount has been a heck of a pickup for the New England Patriots after the Pittsburgh Steelers let him go, and despite his character issues, there is no denying the role he played in helping to revitalize New England’s running game and get the Patriots into the Super Bowl. Patrick Chung has played a very large role as a safety also for New England, joining a bunch of Rutgers players in shoring up the secondary to help out Reivis Island.

For those of you who don’t think Oregon is physical enough, Seattle would beg to differ based on its own experience. Will Tukuafu is on the roster as a fullback, the valuable dying position that is very physical. And Max Unger is a superstar Pro-Bowl Center for the Seahawks. So we are dealing with four players on the roster, three regular contributors, and a superstar.

The combination of those things is more than enough to put the Oregon Ducks this high on the list.
