9. UCLA Bruins, Four Players  (Two on Roster, Two on Injured Reserve)

Players on New England: Akeem Ayers (OLB), Matthew Slater (WR)

Players on Seattle: Derrick Coleman (FB-IR), Cassius Marsh (DE-IR)

The UCLA Bruins would honestly be higher on this lists like everybody else with four players if it were not for the fact that they only have one player of any significance in the Super Bowl.

Two players, Derrick Coleman and Cassius Marsh, are on injured reserve. That could be an excuse if they other two players were both good. But Matthew Slater has simply been a wasted roster spot.

So all UCLA is able to tout going into this Super Bowl is Akeem Ayers for New England. That’s good, and having four players in total is good, but the productivity of three of them is so bad that there is no way they belong over certain teams on this list, including some with only three players.

The Bruins get to stay on this list because of quantity and the value of Ayers.
