Miami Hurricanes

Five Players: Jimmy Graham (TE), Greg Olsen (TE), Calais Campbell (DE), Sam Shields (CB), Devin Hester (Ret.)

We are more than a decade removed from any semi-relevance of Miami Hurricane football outside of a major booster scandal, the tearing down of the Orange Bowl, and the fact that fans still don’t go to games. The Miami Heat and Cash Money Millionaires (which is actually from New Orleans) represent the area better than this University football program.

But hey, they still manage to dominate the NFL with lots of talent. Two tight ends, a defensive end, a cornerback, and a returner in Devin Hester who has made his name as a superstar doing that alone make up this class.

Of the five Miami players in the Pro Bowl, four were selected, putting them ahead of any team in college football. That’s right, the school may not be winning a lot in football anymore.

But it is still pumping out talent on a yearly basis to the NFL, evidenced by this stat alone.

And the talent pool spreads out from the Larry Coker heydays into recent years. So hey, say what you want about the football program.

If you go to Miami, you still have a pretty great shot at the NFL. Once again, they top a list measuring NFL success.
