12. Kansas Jayhawks

Three Players: Chris Harris (CB), Aqib Talib (CB), Darrell Stuckey (Spec.)

Possibly one of the least successful college football schools in Power Five conference history, astonishingly, has three players in the Pro Bowl. And two of them were original selections.

Despite the checkered past, Mark Mangino’s tenure at least turned out some NFL talent. And it has shown with the Jayhawks sinking to a laughingstock throughout the college football world since his firing.

Well, we should say back to a laughingstock. They were there before. At least during Mangino’s time period, however, we can say that there was some talent going out into the league.

But, among the eight teams that have three players in the Pro Bowl, Kansas had to be the bottom team. After all, there’s not much diversity when you have two players at the same position on the same team, and then your third guy is a return specialist.

Oh, and Stuckey was a replacement player anyway.

So it’s not that amazing, but it is enough for the Jayhawks to be placed on this list.
