Analysis

Are we surprised by this result? Of course not. The SEC didn’t just win this competition. It flat-out towered over the rest.

When the ACC comes in at No. 2  at averages 1.35 players per team in the Super Bowl, and the SEC is more than .35 points better than that, we have a remarkably dominant stat on our hands.

To keep it going, let’s play the game of giving both Texas A&M and Missouri to the Big 12 since that’s where the two teams came from. Well, you still have 21 players and a 1.5 player per team number in the SEC and a 1.41 in the Big 12.

No matter how much you slice and dice it, the SEC dominates this game.

This year, the conference was helped by Alabama, but even without that team, it still ties for No. 1. The dominance goes everywhere, with superstars like Peyton Manning, defensive studs like Patrick Peterson, and skill players like A.J. Green.

In this year’s Pro Bowl, the SEC reigns supreme.
