Super Bowls

Super Bowl XXI, 1986-87 (Defeated Denver Broncos 39-20)

Super Bowl XXV, 1990-91 (Defeated Buffalo Bills 20-19)

Once again, this was a stint to forget, but one of the most legendary coaches in NFL history who has a legendary coaching tree did once coach in college football.

In 1978, Bill Parcells went 3-8 with the Air Force Falcons. After that, he continued his long tradition of bolting teams before the job is finished. Parcells moved straight to the NFL as a defensive coordinator for the Giants. But that 3-8 season with the Falcons cannot be erased from his resume.

Parcells still remains a Top 5 coach in league history and a football genius, but his college success was among the worst of anybody. Still, it was only one year. Perhaps he could have had Air Force going in time. We will never know at this point.

But there is somebody else on this list who is a Parcells protege.
