6. Clemson Tigers

Forget the fact that the Clemson Tigers do not have anybody else to really add to their list this week. The fact that Dabo Swinney has the No. 3 ranked class in the country right now at Clemson of all places speaks for itself. Anything he gets is icing on the cake this week, because he’s already at a school not supposed to recruit like this, and he is making great on his dedication to turn Clemson into a national power.

The Tigers have been recruiting well ever since he was promoted to head coach, and they have been consistently getting better also. Even if this class falls, it will certainly be a Top 10 class, and for Clemson fans, you can’t ask for any better. They simply get to relax this week and watch things unfold knowing they have a ton of momentum not just heading into this year’s National Signing Day but heading into next year’s college football season.

The youth of the Tigers combined with the recruiting classes solidifies the program as an elite program under Swinney. Fans in South Carolina can just sit back and watch who they might add for extra pleasure this week because the accomplishments are already there. They don’t need to pick up anybody else, so the fact that they aren’t in the running really does not mean anything.
