5. Tennessee Volunteers

Very much like Clemson, Butch Jones’s third recruiting class at Tennessee is pretty much complete. This is currently a Top 5 class on Rivals, ranked No. 5, and with the security that the class will not fall out of the Top 10 along with the youth and the amount of talent coming back, it is clear that Vols fans might have more to be excited about than anybody in the world of college football.

But why do they have more momentum than Clemson going into National Signing Day? Because Jones and Co. aren’t done.

A recent decommit from the Ole Miss Rebels by 5-star Memphis offensive lineman Drew Richmond has the Vols right back in play to significantly improve their rankings. Picking up him in this class would be a major piece of icing on the cake, and Tennessee would assure a Top 5 finish in this year’s recruiting class. If that were to happen, then Vols fans would definitely be singing, and their voices would echo throughout Rocky Top.

Tennessee is already playing with house money on National Signing Day. The addition of another superstar offensive lineman would only make things that much better. And there is a very good chance that happens.
