4. Texas A&M Aggies

Kevin Sumlin is not playing around. The Texas A&M Aggies are right on the level of the Texas Longhorns in the fight for state supremacy when it comes to recruiting. And as of the past couple of years, the Aggies are winning pretty handily.

Sumlin has put together another Top 10 class, with his recruiting improving every year since his arrival in College Station. Fans of the Aggies already were excited about his coaching prowess with our without Johnny Manziel, but when you add his improved recruiting along with the youth of this football team, there is a lot to be happy about. Also, this year, half of his elite players are defensive players, which was a huge deal to begin with.

So we know the recruiting class is going to be great. The best part is Sumlin isn’t done.

Texas A&M is also still fighting Texas hard for Soso Jamabo, and that could be another superstar recruit added to the class. But in addition to Jamabo, the Aggies have three other Rivals 100 players in the conversation. All of them could be icing on the cake when you look at who they have already picked up and what the outlook of the program is. So Aggie fans will be happy no matter what on Signing Day, and they are very aware of what it means to own the state of Texas.

But they could get even more excited.
