Number of Rivals 100 Players Still Chasing: 4 (3 5-Stars, 1 4-Star)
Say what you want about him, but Todd Graham sure as heck is not playing around with the Arizona State Sun Devils. After having them in the national title hunt for part of this year, he’s got them doing well on the recruiting trail right now with the No. 20 ranked recruiting class. And things could get even better.
Arizona State is a Top 3 school for two 5-star recruits and a Top 5 school for another. The Sun Devils appear as if they could be in the lead for 5-star defensive lineman Rasheem Green, which would be a huge pick-up for then as they look to get more physical. But in addition to Green, 5-star linebacker Porter Gustin would also be great for the defense, which certainly struggled lots of times this past year. John Houston is the other 5-star, and he’s another linebacker. If they get all three watch out.
The Sun Devils as a whole are in the race for four Rivals 100 players, and with three of them 5-stars and a Top 20 class already, Graham also has a great chance to have a Top 5 class when it’s all said and done. And most importantly, knowing his offense is fine, he is fortunately smart enough to focus on getting elite defensive talent. That could change the outlook for the Sun Devils.
