Mike Gundy did a tremendous job with such a strong finish to the season last year given everything that has happened. He has done a pretty good job in the recruiting season as well getting exactly what he needed for the Cowboys.
There was some speculation that Running Back Chris Carson might sign with Georgia since he is from Lilburn, Georgia and Todd Gurley is on his way to the next level, but Nick Chubb probably changed Carson’s mind along with the dismissal of Tyreek Hill, and since he is a Juco transfer, the idea of immediate playing time at Oklahoma State just makes sense.
Was it mentioned that he’s 6’2″ 210 pounds? At running back?! Also included into the Cowboys’ Depth Chart are 4 stars Louis Brown from Texas and Safety Kevin Henry from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Their lone 4 star from Oklahoma? 6’4″ Pocket Passer John Kolar who committed back in spring of 2014.
Other 4-star talent include Darrion Daniels and Johnny Wilson from Texas. Mike Gundy should improve on last year’s record that ended on a high note with a defeat of Oklahoma in the Bedlam series and then a much needed Bowl victory in the Cactus Bowl over Washington. Sturdy class, especially with Chris Carson.
