5. LSU Tigers

Rivals Class Rank: No. 8

Les Miles had a ridiculously young team last year, and lots of the talent is back this year, so anything the Tigers added would be icing on the cake. And with the No. 8 ranked recruiting class, that is exactly what they got, ensuring that there will be tremendous depth and talent on this team for years to come.

What else is new?

The Tigers added four 5-star players, including wide receiver Tyron Johnson to help a terrible passing game, defensive back Kevin Toliver II to continue the great tradition of dominant Tigers secondaries, Maea Teuhema on the offensive line, a position where it never hurts to add recruits, and running back Derrius Guice to replace Terrence Magee and Kenny Hilliard and start alongside Leonard Fournette. Running Back David Ducre will help that as well.

Add into the mix a class made up of players from every position just about, and you have a loaded class coming into an already loaded team. About the only reservation is the fact that Miles has not solved his quarterback situation. That forces this class to be knocked down a bit, but not too much because, seriously, when has LSU ever cared about a quarterback being more than a game manager?
