Rivals Class Rank: No. 27

This is the perfect example of a recruiting class that is much better than its Rivals ranking indicates.

Gary Pinkel has proven that he runs a perfect system and can even win in the SEC with it, and all he needs are the players to fit that system. On defense, that starts with a great pass rush and a very athletic defensive line.

Well, the addition of Terry Beckner, Jr. Wednesday made sure that would happen, and don’t sleep on defensive end Marcell Frazier.

The other crucial piece to this system is a great running game to fit with Pinkel’s form of a spread offense. Picking up running backs Chase Abbington and Marquise Doherty does that along with offensive lineman A.J. Harris. Finally, 4-star quarterback Drew Lock is simply icing on the cake.

This system probably won’t bring national championships or even SEC Championships to the school, but it’ll bring divisional titles and 10-win seasons on a regular basis. When you are at Missouri, coming from the Big 12, there is not much more you can ask for.
