5. Oregon Ducks

Even during the days of Chip Kelly, the Oregon Ducks rarely managed to pick up Top 10 recruiting classes. They have never been a team you would see dominate the recruiting boards, but they have been consistent winners in the Pac-12, or Pac-10, dating all the way back to their championship with Joey Harrington in 2001.

The Ducks have been to two national championship games in the Rivals Era and never needed to fill up with Top 10 classes to do it. They have also been through three coaches at the same time, and all they seem to do is promote the offensive coordinator when a head coach leaves the program.

Doing that has created an amount of stability that is close to becoming unmatched throughout the college football world, and as the Ducks continue this process, they are likely to pull out a national championship at one point.

They never have to stress out on Signing Day as long as their recruiting classes fit their spread offense system that is so far ahead of the rest of the college football world and especially able to dominate the Pac-12.
