9. Josh Sweat, Defensive End, Florida State

The pictures will be hard to come by as most high school players do not have any pictures out to use yet, but Sweat should have his picture available soon. Sweat is a very skilled and has a very lean and muscular body that is a little smaller than you would like a defensive end to be. However he does he a good job using his hands and his quickness to his advantage against bigger tackles.

The key for Sweat will be to put on extra weight in the coming months and stay on a lifting program allowing him to continue to mold his frame and fill out more. Until Sweat fills out more he will most likely have trouble in the run game and could get engulfed by strong pulling guards or bigger tackles. Because of the problems he could have in the run game I would expect him to rotate in for the Seminoles and be used specifically on obvious passing situations.

When Sweat rushes the passer he is at his best as he can really bend around the tackles and use his hands and quickness to keep opposing tackles off of him.

I would expect Sweat to see the field more as the season wears on and he improves his body and proves he belongs.
