7. Johnny Frasier, Running Back, North Carolina State

Surprisingly there is a person on this list outside of the top three schools of Virginia Tech, Clemson and Florida State. Frasier is a good fit in the Wolfpack’s offense as he should give quarterback Jacoby Brissett a great back who can do it all.

Frasier is a guy who has a big frame at 5’11 and 200 lbs which should allow him to take a beating and handle the workload a premier halfback. He also has very good hands for a running back allowing him to stay on the field on third down, but needs to develop more with his pass blocking on third down. However this isn’t unusual with running backs from high school as most of the time they haven’t had to do it in high school.

Frasier also is deceptively quick for a bigger guy and could put on more muscle if he wants, but needs to be careful not to overload himself so can keep his quickness and use his vision to hit the hole hard.

A great find for Coach Dave Doeren.
