Biggest Question: Will quarterback Tanner Lee give you more reasons to be excited for the Fall?

We know about East Carolina’s and UCF’s consistently great offenses, we know about Justin Fuente’s ability at Memphis, we know about the new system coming to Houston, and we know about Gunner Kiel in Cincinnati.

But a trip to New Orleans, which is always fun, might be worth it if you’re looking for a quarterback to take over and become a star. And you won’t have to leave the city to go to Baton Rouge to find good football this time.

Okay, we are overhyping this. Tanner Lee threw 12 touchdowns and 14 interceptions last year as a freshman while the Green Wave stumbled top 3-9 on the year. But he showed raw potential, the pieces are in place for him to succeed, and the offense returns eight starters, four of whom were freshmen last year.

That means that this spring, it is time to see how much progression they all make this year, and Lee is at the center of it all. Tulane’s offense could become a great show down south in a mid-major conference this year if everything goes well, but we will not know for sure until we see how the offense gels this spring.
