Biggest Question: What offense will Jim McElwain install for his first team at Florida?

Through his time at Alabama and Colorado State, Jim McElawin has shown a better ability to adapt to offensive personnel than any coach in college football. His key players rack up huge numbers, and he makes them into stars.

With a stud wide receiver at Colorado State, his offense threw lots of deep balls. With a loaded offensive line at Alabama, his offense always focused on the running game and taking the game out of the quarterback’s hands.

It appears McElwain will work with Treon Harris to run the offense his first year, and Harris appears to be a mobile quarterback that fits will in a spread system.

Can McElwain implement a spread, or will he take advantage of Harris’s dual-threat abilities in an element of the pro-style offense, which is what he likes to run?

We’ll get a better sense of the offense he wants to install when things get going this Spring, so if you are a Florida fan, Spring Practice has to be very intriguing this year.

We can at least bet the offense will be better than it ever was the past four years.
