Michigan Wolverines
The Michigan Wolverines won the 2015 college football off-season with the hire of former 49ers’ head coach and Stanford Cardinal head coach, Jim Harbaugh. Harbaugh, the Michigan man, was welcomed by everyone in Ann Arbor with open arms.
Harbaugh brings excitement to a Michigan program that hasn’t won a bowl game since 2011. Again, same with USC, college football is more fun when Michigan is good. However, it’s been awhile since a person last described Michigan’s football team as “good”.
Michigan football needs this spring more than any other Big Ten team. Michigan football used to be a thing, and after a terrible recent history, the Wolverines are looking to regain national relevancy this fall.
This spring comes with a lot of question for the Wolverines. Can Michigan be Michigan, again? Will Jim Harbaugh lead Michigan to a national title? Not this season, but these expectations are going to prevalent in Ann Arbor during Harbaugh’s tenure.
Harbaugh has a lot of work to do in Ann Arbor, and he’s here to save the day for the blue and maize.
