It seems like this may be the make or break year for Tim Beckman who avoided the firing line by miraculously leading Illinois to a bowl game last year, but another poor year in conference may be his undoing.
The Illini have some intriguing talent coming back to Champaign that could challenge for another six-win season, but it starts at quarterback. Illinois has experience at quarterback with Wes Lunt returning from injury and could put up big numbers if he stays healthy.
