Theus helped Georgia rush for nearly 260 yards a game last year and only allowed 17 sacks in the passing game with a quarterback that could not be relied upon to stand in the pocket and make deep throws downfield.

Mark Richt’s offensive line will be very experienced this year, but Theus is the most experienced of that group and will probably have the biggest expectations entering his senior year. He needs to not only build on what he did for Chubb in the running game last year.

Theus needs to also help make life easier on whomever the new starting quarterback will be.

John Theus

Tackle, Georgia Bulldogs

With 40 starts on his resume, John Theus is the veteran of the Georgia Bulldogs offensive line, and the honorable mention All-SEC tackle is looking to have a huge year blocking for a future superstar running back in Nick Chubb.

Theus is going to be the leader as a senior this year, and at 6’6″ 313 pounds, he’s got a pretty darn good frame to pass block as well, which is a huge deal.
