Alabama won’t have a problem replacing Blake Sims
Jacob Coker has been dealt a pretty rough hand over the past two years at Florida State and Alabama. Two years ago, he was in a battle with Jameis Winston and Clint Trickett and last year he transferred to Alabama as the presumptive starter, but saw Blake Sims beat him out and have a great deal of success.
This year, it looks he will finally be the guy in Tuscaloosa.
In his last year of eligibility, Coker looks primed to lead the Crimson Tide back to the College Football Playoff. He has proven to be a viable backup in his few snaps last season. He threw for 403 yards, four TD’s, and zero INT’s.
Nick Saban’s squad will be in good hands with Coker at the helm.
