The Tigers also will no doubt possess one of the top offensive lines with top tackle recruit Mitch Hyatt not even likely to see time this year because of their depth.
Dabo Swinney has done a fantastic job building this program and their defense will be stacked once again with Christian Wilkins coming in at defensive tackle to help that defensive line with their penetration and pushing the pocket.
The Tigers look poised to be among the top five or so teams in the country if everyone stays healthy.

Last week: 10-3 record
Last rank: 2nd
The number one team in the rankings and team that supplanted the Yellow Jackets are the Clemson Tigers. The Tigers are my choice for number one because of their loaded recruiting class, the return of all their major offensive players and the ability that they can plug new guys into their defense every year and they always have stud pass rushers. (Vic Beasley, Daquan Bowers, Gaines Adams)
The main weapon they possess however is Deshaun Watson who is just as good as Justin Thomas and is going to be just a sophomore this year. The one thing holding them back was if he was going to be healthy headed into this year, but it seems as though that will be the case, hence their number one ranking. Watson runs the read option as well as anyone not named Justin Thomas, but throws the ball better than Thomas, and has a better cast of receivers.
