Kiel was also 4-0 in one-score games this past year, so the clutch gene is also there.
Tommy Tuberville has done a great job sustaining the level of success that the Cincinnati Bearcats have had over the past decade-plus. With two more years of Kiel, that does not appear as if it will change at all.
The guy did all of this in the AAC, as mentioned before, and that’s much more impressive than some of the numbers in the other conferences. As a result, and with the fact that he has a year under his belt, Kiel belongs this high on the list.
There is only one, out of the ordinary reason that he is not No. 1 on this list.

Gunner Kiel
Junior, Cincinnati Bearcats
This guy is clearly the one to be far and away the most excited about among everybody on this list.
Gunner Kiel has a great future ahead of him, and the Cincinnati Bearcats are not going anywhere after going 9-4 last year.
In his first year with the Bearcats, Kiel only completed 59 percent of his passes, but he managed 3,254 yards, 31 touchdowns to only 13 interceptions, and he was also only sacked 12 times.
Kiel was also 4-0 in one-score games this past year, so the clutch gene is also there.
