But we will know easily just how well Woods can handle it because not only is he going to shoulder a much bigger load, but unlike what Melvin Gordon was able to do at Wisconsin under Andersen, Woods will not be able to run behind a dominant, massive offensive line.
This is still a team that was built for a pass offense, and Andersen won’t be able to change that overnight. Woods will have to be able to make that change easier by performing up to the flashes of greatness he has shown.
After last year, he will probably do very well given the chance.

Storm Woods
Senior, Oregon State Beavers
Watch out Pac-12. Storm Woods is down on this list right now because of the fact that he he has not proven himself to be able to fully shoulder the load at running back, but on 121 carries for 766 yards and a 6.3 yards per carry average along with 5 touchdowns, he has shown he could be dangerous.
Now, with Gary Andersen coming to Oregon State to bring the offense he ran at Utah State and force onto Wisconsin, Woods could thrive. This is a perfect system for him, as it is built around running backs making big plays.
